Business Law
From
time to time, your business will have the need to hire
an attorney. It may be because you are buying
or selling a business, because you are involved in
a lawsuit, or because you need help with a contract.
This section will help you find the resources you need to address the situation.
|
The
SBA's legal concerns section helps explain what to do if you need an
attorney and
where to find one that
can address your needs.
Business.Gov has a Business
Laws section which describes
various laws and topics that generally require an attorney.
See our section on Copyrights/Trademarks/Patents for resources to help you protect your intellectual rights.
If
you need a referral on a lawyer, The Florida Bar Lawyer Referral Service
(LRS), provides referrals to attorneys who will conduct an initial
one-half hour office consultation for $25. Their number is 1-800-342-8011.
