Ann Porter, Owner of Kitchen Studio of Naples, Inc., pictured in her new showroom located, 3415 Radio Road, Suite 102 in downtown Naples just minutes from the Naples Airport. Meet Ann Porter, a native of Greensboro, NC, who eventually found her way to sunny Naples, after graduation from Virginia Tech, with a BS degree in Interior Design. She gained exceptional experience designing kitchens and bathrooms in the Northern Virginia/DC area before moving to southwest Florida where she founded Kitchen Studio of Naples, Inc. in 2002. Her specialty is kitchen and bath design and she enjoys creating unique designs for her clients that reflects their individual tastes and personalities. She holds the Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) designation from the National Kitchen and Bath Association. CKD’s must pass stringent written examinations, with a minimum of seven year industry experience, and meet annual continuing education requirements. Designing a kitchen or bath to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing takes highly specialized skills and knowledge. That’s why working with a Certified Kitchen Designer is invaluable. Ms. Porter founded Kitchen Studio of Naples, Inc. in 2002 with a desire to provide a more specialized service to her customers. Clients can expect the following:
A satisfied client recently wrote “Just a note to let you know how pleased we are with our new kitchen. Without your knowledge and follow-through abilities, completion could have been a long process. Everything ran so smoothly…you are a true professional.” Ann Porter acknowledges “One of the benefits of being a solopreneur is the ability to run my business as I think will best serve my clients. However, a disadvantage is not having a partner with whom I can brainstorm various business strategies. My relationship with SCORE Naples has been very beneficial in helping me to set goals and meet objectives. The diversity of the SCORE volunteers has been invaluable in helping me to navigate the financial and emotional decisions necessary to grow my business.” |
